Subtraction Is Power

Luxury used to mean more, more stuff, more steps, more access. But in 2025, excess feels cheap.
Anyone can add. Few know how to subtract.
The real luxury now?
- A clear calendar.
- A single product that works.
- A ritual that restores instead of drains.
- Time that isn’t already sold to someone else.
Subtraction isn’t lack. It’s discernment. It’s knowing what not to carry, what not to consume, what not to chase.
I started noticing a pattern: more and more and more. And it didn’t sit right with me. My brain, body, and feelings were telling me no, that’s not right.
We don’t need more. We need less. Less feels true. Less feels aligned. Less moves with the flow of life.
And the paradox is this: when you subtract, what remains finally has room to shine.
Subtraction isn’t minimalism. It’s power. It's discernment. It’s clarity. It’s the new luxury.
